I was supposed to fly to NYC to meet a friend of mine. I told her I need to keep this trip on the cheap side, since this summer been pretty rough on my pockets. She said -

Of course we could eat home, but that would probably be more expensive than eating out.

Budget Bytes is a food blog dedicated to making food on a budget. The blog itself looks yummy enough, and I love how it reflects our time. hell, I may even use their recipes.

Obsessed with Shoes

Andy Warhol was the first, and he was very good at it. The trick with shoes obsession is, you gotta love them all. You see a shoe, and your mind goes wild. You see it, for what it is, and for what it can be. It's like loving your husband, and loving his pluses and minuses together. It's like a perfection in the inperfection. It's zen.

Vienna for Beginners

Merisi's Vienna for Beginners won some awards for being an a-class blog, and if you're looking for a very different city guide (to Vienna, daa), this is a very nice trwasure blog. It's filled with pictures and short poem-like texts by Merisi, from Vienna and around it, and I can say for certain that the city is nicer in this blog than in reality (and it is indeed nice in reality). Lots of the Viennese Melange cafe, small streets, people, and any other aspect of everydau Vienna comfort life.

A real blog, of personal ramblings. Those are my favorite, those blogs that truly let you in someone's life, like a friend. Karen Cheng lives in Australia, and she shares her thoughts about parenting, fashion, art, and other stuff life brings on its way. Cool.

Remember I told you about 42 Roards? Yes, that family/craft blog I loved so much, and which made me want to buy a sewing machine. Well, my excitement is again over the edge, after I found this great soft blog: neither hip nor funky is a wool blog, so sweet you want to be a kitten. Great articles, great pictures, and very cute hats!!! I think it's the best knitting blog I've seen on the crafty blogosphere so far. I love it!

Here's another blog that combines many corners of life to one vibrant beat. A little girl, some art, how to make them all work out in the flat, life, more life, some beyond, some below. I loved this blog, the pictures are nice to look at, the flat looks better than mine so it's always some sort of inspiration. The crafty objects are cute and beautiful. Another best blog, full of life, or whatever that is.

I just saw on the news that Ikea are printing their new cataloge those days. The reporter went to furniture stores how people felt about it. I felt I need something more inspiring for my head.
